How would you feel in this situation?

A catastrophe befalls the Earth, very few people survive including only 12 women and a few dozen men. You're all expected to help repopulate the Earth. You're one of the women.
Would you feel like a great deal of importance has been thrust upon you or, would you just not even think about that and simply do your duty and allow yourself to be one of the new mothers of the human race?

That sounds like a horrible fate for the women in this scenario. I mean humankind is fucked either way because thats simply not enough to keep it going, but to basically become breeding/sex factories for some guys? No thanks. I will take my chances in the wilderness alone.
