It's this mexican girl I work with and we hardly talk to each other. I don't fuck with no one at my job cause I'm a introverted and private guy.
With that said, sometimes she'll strike I conversation and it'll be about her kids or how she's sleepy or tired. Just those 3 topics.
" my son did this."
" I'm tired, my head hurts blah blah"
" I'm sleepy. Didn't get no sleep cause of my son."
I gives 0 fucks and I'm puzzled as to what to say cause it's random and short. Of course I can simply ask questions, change the topic or pretend to care and crack jokes. But I seen her talk bout meaningful things with other people. Me I just don't care really. Don't get point of small talk.
How'd you feel in my situation?

I would flip the script and try to talk about shit she doesn't care about! Nah, really I'd just ignore her until she got the message..
For real, I be like okay, what do you want me to do? Why are telling me? Now she said something like, " oh I'm tired, I put my kids to sleep. Now I'm here, what about you." Then I'd be okay may it's 2 way convo.
Yeah, a selfish talker. I know a few at my job. Some even interrupt if you try to add something to their boring shit. I just nod and slowly walk away.
