Would Kamala Harris be a good president and improve everyday life?

Aside from Donald Trump—who many feel has only made everyday life harder and more stressful—how do you think Kamala Harris would perform as president?

On one hand, she has earned her degrees, she’s highly intelligent, and she conducts herself with a lot of professional decorum. Her supporters argue that her educational background and experience in public office give her the perfect qualifications to lead the nation effectively.

Personally, I also feel like America and those that be above simply couldn’t accept or deal with the fact of a woman being president of the United States. They might be afraid that a woman could actually lead better or completely clean up the mess and get us out of the funk they left this country in.

When looking at the potential challenges the country faces, people have a wide range of opinions on her past political record and her ability to handle major national issues like the economy. What do you think her presidency would actually look like for the future of the country? Do you think her intelligence, poise, and potential to clean up the system give her the right vision to make things better for everyday citizens, or do you have concerns about her approach to leading the nation? No. I spent 2 years of my life living there. What a shithole.

Different culture. You ever see commercials about the 3rd world and how some woman or child has to walk 10 miles or whatever carrying water yet nobody asks where is their husband or father and why isn't he doing it? Well that man is sitting at home on his lazy ass doing nothing, he couldn't even buy or build a device that allows them to carry it on wheels. there's an old saying that give a man a fish and he will eat for day, teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime. But happens when the man refuses to learn and just wants free fish?

When i was there I saw girls married as young as 12, young boys being kept by older men who were anti gah but raped young boys. Every night, everywhere we were on patrol we would scan the environment with night vision and thermal optics and there you would find an afghan man or groups of them raping and gang raping a goat or goats.

Afghan men are generally cowards, thats why it was so wast for the taliban to take over. I've met a few Afghans over here in Britain that came as refugees, most of them have been arrested on some sort of sex crime charge.

It's not about woman, it's about her abilities to deal with the issues... which were questionable. That seemed clear as VP to many.

I think she's nice and personable. I also think she's more like a wet noodle. The question would be, whom are her advisors influencing her because she seemed to have few ideas of her own.

To be honest, I think anyone at this point could be president, you don't need a degree or a brain, you just need an AI. Ideally, I like a few others...

Ray Dalio, Jamie Dimon... on the central/left politics. At least they have a lot of financial experience and history perspective, personable. Kamala isn't even on the scale.

The only real value I saw to Kamala was that she was a woman and she was mixed race. But that doesn't count for much.

I will just start saying that I am not American and who is the president in the U. S is not as important to me as it can be to you, but I think that almost anyone can do better than Trump as a president. I don't know if Harris is the right choice or not, again I am non from the US so I am not informed well, but what Michelle Obama said is right, us citizens are not ready for a woman president, because the majority of them think that men are better than women when in reality we are the same and we should have the same possibility.

Even her own party didn't think she would be good.. She hardly ran on any policies just that she "wasn't Trump" which only appealed to those that didn't like Trump.. She ran with Joe Biden and was practically the President for the last few months of his administration..
