I don't get what that video has to do with your question. But in the US, yes, but not in France. An actor destroyed his career by calling some nlggers "nlggers", meanwhile in France, a famous director raped a bunch of actresses and one even commited suicide and French people said it doesn't change that he made good movies.

I saw a documentary about an Indian guy who burned his wife alive and they let him leave prison everyday to teach kids.

A Norwegian musician killed his bandmate and was making albums in prison and is out now and married to a hot French wife and no one cares.

This mentality you speak of only exists in the US
