4 of 5 HIGHEST cost of living states are run by Democrats. All 5 LOWEST cost of living states are run by Republicans. Which creates "Affordability"?

I live in one of the expensive democrat states. Taxes on everything. We even have taxes on taxes. Electricity is the highest in the continental US, car and house insurance is also more than anyplace else. my kids are all here and my wife will mever leave them or else I would be gone years ago.
