New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle are priced too high for young people to buy house. They have the highest electric rates and highest taxes. They must be able to find a way to blame it on President Trump.

3 moBlue zones are the worst in every metric. Higher crime than the national average, higher unemployment than the national average, higher homelessness than the national average, higher cost of living than the national average, etc.
Democrats ruin everything that they touch, including the public education system. That way their dumbsh*t voting base believes them when the democrats fail to fix ANY of the problems they address in their campaign lies and then blame it on republicans.
California has been under the EXCLUSIVE control of democrats for generations, and they haven’t fixed ANYTHING. These idiots keep voting democrat like the next batch of con artists are going to do anything differently.
Democrats swear that they’re by far the smarter and better educated party, but they’re afraid all their genius voters won’t figure out how to get voter ID. Millions of college educated democrats spent four years begging Biden to make the rest of us pay off their student loans. How are the smartest people in the country unable to pay their bills? Especially when me and all my dumb, blue collar colleagues are doing great! I’m turning down overtime!
Modern democrats are completely ignorant and delusional. There’s no other explanation.20 Reply

3 mocause cities have limited space and dense populations. thus real estate is at a premium
it's not just democratic cities that are unaffordable. Dallas, Scottsdale, and cities in florida (miami, orlando, tampa) are all very expensive places to live
cities just tend to have a higher cost of living than rural communities as a whole.

Ah - dense populations.
- 3 mo
@Massageman Yeah, that's an amusing way to put it. Given that... They are dense enough to vote Demo (n) crat! 😂
- 3 mo
@CalmUntilAbused Yes - double meaning of "dense"
- 3 mo
Dallas isn't a democratic city. nor is Scotsdale. Miami, Orlando, and Tampa are all fairly middle but republican outside of local politics.
Dallas and Miami are some of the most expensive places in the country.
i also didn't just say dense populations
why ask questions in bad faith. you're not concerned with facts or truth. your just looking for confirmation bias
3 moIn civilization in general, urban centers are only suppose to exist if a region produces excess resources. Affordability comes down to scarcity of resources (supply and demand). Thus you can conclude that the people of Democrat regions are not productive enough to support the urban centers and Socialist policies that they have established. This is a result of far leftist neoliberal Chicago school of economics ideals where Democrats believe they can separate the “microeconomic” from the “macroeconomic” spheres. They believe the central government should have absolute control over the macro areas, in order to manipulate the economy for social ends. They use tax and more specifically the income tax to systematically rob and confiscate from the microsphere of the individual to push compulsory egalitarianism in an attempt to equalize incomes through the tax structure. This authoritarian management of the economy has distortive effects on the entire economic system and leads to resource shortfalls and population collapse because the macro and micro spheres are integrated and intertwined in reality, as the Austrians have shown. It's impossible to grant control over the macro sphere to the state without stripping the microsphere of economic freedom. Thus the individual gets crushed at the whims of the state "for the greater good". Socialism is Socialism... A zebra can't change its stripes.

It's the same thing that always happens under Socialism. This is why the Socialist eventually start to round up enemies of the party and put them on train cars like cattle and ship them off to labor camps. They need more productivity, so they resort to slavery.
- 3 mo
By rounding up people they declare enemies of the state they reduce populations in urban centers that demand resources and exploit them for labor to produce resources for the "true believers" that remain in urban centers. It's an evil system.
- 3 mo
The Socialist scream it's the Capitalist Jews! Its the Christians! They're our scapegoat. Let's take their processions and send them to labor death camps!
Sahih Muslim - The Book of Repentance
Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger said:
"When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say that is your rescue from Hell-Fire"

3 moThey also have the highest concentration of population, especially on the coasts.
They have the highest labor costs for maintaining the gridCurrently, the red states of Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska are undergoing huge hikes in energy.
The largest loan in the history of the US Energy Dept was just granted to Georgia Power and Light and Alabama Power, both earned by Southern. The clandestine deal was to freeze base rates until 2028 (hmm, election time). After that, residents of those states will see enormous rate hikes as principle payments on that loan kicks in. Meanwhile, interest only will be paid for the next 2 years.
In other words, GA & AL are going to get fucked up the ass on power rates for the next 20 years while the loan gets paid off. Why would the Dept of Energy approve such a gigantic loan for a private company? Why wasn't it a grant? Hmmm, I guess maintaining the grid is a convenience that citizens need to pay MORE for, not an essential part of life that your already paid in tax dollars SHOULD pay for.

Ummm... hmmm, more BULLSHIT. Your state, New Hampshire? Vermont? are somewhere in the top 3 - 7 highest. However, in the last 4 months, carriers like Center Point have been ok'd for rate hikes bring them even higher. There aren't any stats on it yet, but I'll take a page from your favorite "proof positive" comparison; the anecdote. My friend just outside of Evansville has seen her electric bill go from $224 a month to $671 a month.
Isn't that what you always use for proof, a Exit? A story about someone you know? Well, it happens to be true. - 3 mo
Massachusetts. It is number three, behind California and Hawaii. It has more than doubled since we got a new governor. One of the largest electric suppliers in the state showed that their profits for 2025 were twice what it was in 2024. Nobody in the State House has a problem with this.
- 3 mo
Your voters elected the people allowing the rate hikes, just like you voted for the child rapist. Do you actually think if Republicans ran the state, they'd have told utility companies " no more hikes, you make enough money"? Get real.
Socialism. Thats why so many are fleeing blue states for red states. Democrats answer to everything is more taxes so they can have stupid stuff like tampons in the boys toilets in high schools or trans story time
