¯\_(ツ) Only one of the highest cost of living States is run by Republicans. So why do people who complain about the cost of living vote for Democrats?

Of the top 10 states with the highest cost of living, seven are completely controlled by the Democratic Party (meaning the governor's office and both legislative chambers are held by Democrats), while two have a divided government, and only ONE (#10) has a Republican controlled government.

So why in the world would the people who complain the most about the cost of living keep voting for Democrats?

(And by the way, these are also the states with the highest taxes. Democrats never saw a tax that they didn't love!)

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen. VOTE DEMOCRATS OUT!

Alaska being so far removed from the U. S. infrastructure probably has more to do with cost of living than anything else.
