A recent case of a long-term murder conviction just got overturned, because the defense attorneys finally proved after 27 years that the falsely convicted man was convicted based on false testimony and BAD unscientific forensics work.
Shouldn't the people who falsely testified against him be punished? Not just a slap on the wrist either.
Shouldn't the two forensic scientists who literally FAKED bite mark evidence against him be punished?
Did you know that no two bite marks are ever identical, even from the same person, so claiming someone has a "match" to a bite mark on a murder victim's body is junk science...
He was in prison on death row at Angola for 27 years.
I've always said we need new Constitutional Amendments to protect and compensate wrongfully convicted people. It's insane how many of these cases happen to exist in the USA, in part because we have incompetent jury trials, and in part because we have so many FALSE ACCUSERS in this nation.
