Agree, people can be ungrateful entitled or not know how to give

Not necessarily. Maybe someone needs help at a moment in time. So I help them. But I don't need anything from them. But maybe somewhere down the road they run into someone they are in a position to help and they pay it forward. Or not. Not on my conscience at that point.

If you give to and help someone unconditionally, I wouldn't judge this person unfavourably because they didn't return the help.
