What’s the weirdest thing you seriously believed as a kid?

A man who lived on the next street, but I could see his backyard from mine, looked a lot like one of my uncles so I thought he WAS my uncle. I figured he was living a double life with a secret family. I never told anyone because I didn't want to get him in trouble. I'm reasonably sure I was mistaken.🤔

Oh man, my mom is a nurse who used to work on the labor and delivery floor and she used to tell horror stories of women who experienced all kinds of issues giving birth. Made me terrified of pregnancy for a long time, afraid of the uterus falling out or something insane like that (which can happen by the way so i suppose it's not all that weird).

I was even scared that if another kid kissed me, I would get pregnant! 😆

That garbage men only worked one day a week. That the grocery store was the center of distribution of all wealth. I believed this because my mother went to the store, paid with a check, and got cash back.
