Why are men more realistic about height when it comes to dating?

Men want women who are shorter than them 5'4" or below, which is almost all women.

It's not almost all women, a very big chunk are 5'5-5'8, 5'4 is average-short. And it's 17% for 6ft+ (usa at least). Also most women don't have a 6ft+ requirement, that's a manosphere lie, It's only actual short guys that struggle with their height in dating, not average height men. If you're like 5'9 and struggle getting girls, the problem isn't your height... (I can tell you're a man)

But men do care less than women about height, it's not that you're more 'realistic' you just care more about other body parts than height.

well 5'5 is closer to 5'4 than 5'7, 5'7 above women even in usa are like 14% or 15% I think. it's much smaller worldwide. i am not a man. i just find it's getting unreasonable

Wow bro, they aren't more "realistic" they don't have a ton of options for many girls above 5'8 or so and a lot have preferences for short girls because they see them as being cuter for some reason. My guess is those who focus on it seem to like the youthful aspect of it, almost like wanting to date a legal child. Those who dont care are the more mature ones.

As for women, I can't answer why smaller ones prefer guys over 6 ft. I am 5'10 myself so yeah, it would be nice not to tower over my boyfriend but I am not going to make a big deal over it. Im fine with just about any height.

Because social media told women that this is what they should want, as a result they believe it. Women are more apt to believe bullshit from TikTok than men are. It's a simple fact. Take the Lindsay Clancy situation as an example. TikTok wine drinking detective moms who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground said Patrick did it, so now there are hundreds of thousands of women who believe her.

Men on the other hand understand that the average height of women is between five foot six and lower so we adjust our expectations accordingly. Women on the other hand have been told all their lives to not compromise, because they can have what ever they want. They have never been told no. So they all go after the same 5% of men. They get cheated on, abused and so on, and then become feminists and blame all men.

It's a vicious cycle.
