What would help Make America Great Again?

Being American is a simpler expression than "United Statesian". Not Canadian or residents of Central or South American countries. Being an American includes citizenship, or permanent residency, embracing our language and culture. Many permanent residents may retain other citizenships but choose to live American, and embrace Americanism although they aren't citizens.

America remains the last and greatest hope for preserving individual liberty and representative government in the world. America is not and never has been a "Democracy"; which is Mob Rule. If you believe our Federated Republic with a Capitalist economic system is a bad form of nationhood, keep in mind that there are 194 others in the world that are worse. Feel free to emigrate there. America is far from perfect. Here are some things that could improve it.

*Only authenticated US Citizens should vote in Executive and Legislative Branch elections. ID's should be provided free only by the US Post Office and authenticated by Homeland Security.
*Overturning the 17th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution.
*Term/service limits on all elected, appointed and employed public servants.
*Elimination of all government service unions, including in education.
*Balanced budget amendment to the constitution.
*First term "Green Cards", expiring in 5 years.
*All emigrants/permanent residents must be adequate in conversational English within 5 years or be sent home.
*All emigrants should pass a simple civics test about the Federal government in five years or be sent home.
*All emigrants must be net contributors to the US government in 5 years, or be sent home, Where emigrants are married, it is their combined family contribution. Unearned income credit for should be factored in.
*All regulations affecting the finances and liberty of citizens and legal residents must be passed legislatively and signed by the President.
