Does thinking about death make you appreciate life more, or does it make you anxious?

No matter how successful, beautiful, wealthy, young, old, healthy, or loved someone is… none of us gets to stay here forever. One day, every person reading this will have a last conversation, a last laugh, a last morning, a last hug. 🌙

And strangely, I don't always find that thought depressing. Sometimes it makes ordinary things feel more meaningful.

A quiet morning. Your favorite meal. Laughing with someone you love. Watching the sunset. Getting a message from someone you haven't heard from in years. Even the boring little routines we complain about might someday be things we'd desperately wish we could experience one more time.

But then there's the other side...

Does thinking about death make you anxious? Do you ever lie awake wondering what happens afterward? Or does accepting that death is unavoidable actually make you more present and grateful for the life you have right now?

And here's the question I'm really curious about:

If you suddenly knew you had only one year left, what would you change about the way you're living today?

Would you finally say something you've been keeping inside? ❤️
Would you stop wasting time on certain people?
Would you travel?
Would you forgive someone?
Would you simply spend more time with the people you love?

Or would you honestly change nothing?

I’d really like to hear people's thoughts on this one. 🖤
