Is Chicago are terrible place to live?

Rent is expensive, crime is high and apparently groceries are also. I do love all the pizza places and malls but the rest i could do without.

Lived there for a year working. Burgled 3 times and mugged 4 times. Been in the vicinity of a shooting 4 times. Was attacked 6 times. I saw more action in Chicago in a year than 4 tours in the army in Afghanistan and iraq.

I've lived a sheltered life. I've never once been mugged.
I talked to a guy from St Louis once and he told me he doesn't know a single one of his friends that hasn't been shot. 😜

@shish_kebab I've been to St Louis. He probably ain't lying lol. Statically they say it was safer to be a soldier or marine during the war in iraq or Afghanistan than live in certain cities like Chicago, detroit, la, St louis
