When someone is an asshole to a black person or Latino they automatically get labeled as aggressive, especially when the person being an asshole is white. This isn't the past anymore. We defend ourselves when needed to. We have boundaries just like you guys do when someone is an asshole to you.

I think there’s some truth to the frustration behind this. Nobody should be expected to stay quiet or accept disrespect because of their race. Black and Latino people have every right to speak up, set boundaries and defend themselves when necessary.

At the same time, I think it’s important not to assume every disagreement is about race. Sometimes people are just being rude to each other. 😅 The same standard of respect should apply to everyone.
