Everything groups like BLM and other social justice idiots do is all manufactured outrage. It's forced. Every temper tantrum they have is choreographed and every cause superficial. Make no mistake, THESE PEOPLE CARE NOTHING ABOUT BLACKS. They're in it for them. They figure if they scream racism loud enough, regardless of merit, the government will give them free handouts. If not the government, then some charity organization. Anything to get out of actually having to be a productive member of society. All of their anger and outrage is fake. Every last ounce of it. They are apathetic to the problems of other black people in the world. In Syria, blacks are still sold as actual slaves (by other blacks no less), but tell BLM that and it'll be zero fucks given.

+1 ySo we can't point out the external issues mean while dealing with our own inner demons? Yes, black on black crime is high and does need to be addressed... But we have these conversations, but the black community doesn't help itself... Funneling money back into the community, showing the kids a better way, helping them get off the streets. There are programs in place to help with that... But you can still call out the systems of oppression and bigotry mean while cleaning up our community.
As a result of history, civilizations that conquered African Americans and sold them as slaves whipped out the understanding of who they were and where they come from... But at the end of the day.. it's actions not conversations that will fix this problem.03 Reply

Truth my brother. A lot going on in this world. We need to be strong.
Asker+1 yYes.. For each other. We have to try.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThey are taught to have low self esteem at a young age. They tell their kids they have failed as a race and they blame it on white people who try and help. It's just the entitled victim mentally most of us have. We just have to be strong and set the example. We have to teach our black children that being racist isn't ok for us. We should hate or be jealous of other races. We have special programs handed to us for our success and we need to take advantage of that. We need to stop living in segregation and move to areas with more whites instead of isolating our selves and banning others from our communities.

Opinion Owner+1 ywe should not hate
Asker+1 yLot's of convolution in your mind. Lot's of unrealistic thinking. Being taught low self esteem I agree with. However this definitely came from white influence. Why would you depend on whites to help? The very ones who brought us down in the first place. Why do you think they would "honestly" care? Give us your reasons.
I also agree that we have to be strong and set good examples. - "But on our own". Not expecting or desiring help from an outside race or party. Expecting help will only cause dependence. Self destruction along side dependence is what's destroying the black race as a whole. White people go after what they want. They never waited around for our help or anyone else's. They work together as a unit. "A team". They made it to the top on their own. They remain victorious. Dependence is a victim mentality.
Asker+1 yMoving to white areas? Stop living segregated? I don't see anyone out here purposely making that choice in mass numbers. $$$$$$$$$$$. The only way for the black community to rise is to work together as one unit. "A team".
This have been going on for a very long time. But, you are right. Black people are very focused on racism. It start with them. They hate each other more. You have black families that can't get along. You have siblings, aunts, uncles, etc. They fight one another, use excessive force against each other, and sometimes violence. So, black families or the black race has never been close or united in anyway possible. They had each other first as slaves before the white people. They do hate on each other. They would go against each other very quickly before they go against another race. I get what you are saying

Asker+1 yYou are right sister. Unfortunately you are exactly right. Your view point is absolutely correct and there's no way around it. Unless we confront these issues as a unit then it's already over.
836 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Internalized racism isn’t the fault of the community, as it was the colonizers that taught the oppressed groups to think and feel that way. So while it is your personal responsibility to come to terms with your internalized racism, it is not an excuse to stop focusing on the systemic racism that exists to prevent you from “prospering” as you say.

Asker+1 y@grega239 I have to agree. It's just an excuse. The internal struggle must be openly addressed by the African American community. If not then we will eventually destroy ourselves. Not matter what the excuse. That's where we're headed.
Asker+1 y@grega239 If what you say is true then it must go away for the other races as well. At an equal pace might I add. Not just black. Proper institutions must be put in place for you propose. There aren't any.
Asker+1 yCorrect. Most races will not give up their identity. Neither should we. Like those other races we have to pull together as well. In unity.
Asker+1 yI know it sounds good on paper. I'm not even sure if it can be done. But I know as race if we do not it's only going to get worse.

@Astoriana I'll be very blunt here... i don't give a fuck about the white race i also dont give a fuck about the black race or any other race for that matter... skin color to me is absolutely irrelevant and dr. King would agree with me... content of character over color of skin...
Asker+1 yWell, if we continue to blame them and depend on them it won't go any where. The white race went for what they wanted. They didn't wait and for a law to change. We have to help ourselves.
Asker+1 y@grega239 Yeah, she's right kinda off the topic a bit.

+1 yblack on black crime affects a tiny portion of the African American community and those people tend to be people who have little concern with larger social issues.
when two gangs are warring in southside chicago this is black on black crime that involves a tiny group of people and black people in pennsylvania, indiana, colorado or in other parts of illinois have little reason to care about this... same goes for anyone
racism on an institutional level is something that goes beyond locale it can be a statewide, regional or national issue.
so for example:
segregation in schools in the 1960s pertained to blacks all over the country
whereas gang violence in Detroit really only pertained to those involved in the violence or those living near it016 Reply
Asker+1 yWaaay off the mark. I won't even attempt to engage.
- +1 y
why should my focus be on black on black crime when it doesn't affect me or anyone i know while racism does affect me and people i know?
Asker+1 yIt's about black unity as a whole falling apart. Let me ask you a question. Are you black?
- +1 y
so what are you doing about the rash of white men committing mass murders? or if you are arab or muslim what are you doing about terrorism? i'm a black man. it is not my job to care about every single black person just like it is not your job to care about every person of whatever race you are.
i care about things in total not based on a person's similar race to me.
Asker+1 yUniversal equality of man kind? I get it. I really do. But this particular feed is not addressing that particular issue. If that is what you have a passion for brother then go right ahead. But don't knock my passion in the process. You have yours. I have mine. I'm not her to challenge any other issue. I'm not here to compare two totally different issues which are in need of two totally different approaches if they are to succeed. But I hear'ya.
- +1 y
i didn't knock your passion i simply explained why i don't feel like as a black man my primary concern needs to be with black people killing black people over anything else (and in this case racism).
just because i don't agree with your premise doesn't mean i am knocking it i just have a different perspective. yes the amount of black on black violence (which occurs more than white on black violence or any other race on black people) is problematic... but gangland murders in chicago compared to racism i or people i know experience are vastly different.
are you black?
Asker+1 yWell, good for you. One day I may be able to join your cause. Looking forward to it. But not yet.
- +1 y
it's not a cause man. it's just a personal opinion.
Asker+1 yOh, well your opinion is certainly appreciated. But does not go along with this feed. But still appreciated however.
- +1 y
it doesn't agree with your opinion. doesn't mean it doesn't go along with the feed. because people don't agree with you doesn't mean that the perspective isn't relevant.
my opinion 100% goes along with the feed. you asked why black people care about racism more than black on black crime and i explained exactly why i care more about racism than black on black crime. how doesn't that go along with the feed? because it doesn't agree with your presumption that we should more about black on black crime?
Asker+1 yI refuse to go away from the subject of this question. I apologize. Have a good day.
- +1 y
what is the subject of the question? i feel like i'm dealing with the subject. perhaps i missed it
Asker+1 y"By a mile".. You missed it by a mile. I couldn't care any less about "universal equality" when my own people are falling totally apart. If this is not something that you have observed then I can't help you there. But this is my only focus. I will not focus on anything else at this time. You've had your say. I've had mine. We are not in agreement. Nothing left to do but argue and I refuse. Good day.

dude relax. i simply asked to explain the subject since you suggest that i missed it. i don't know why you are so triggered but take a deep breath and relax. it's just conversation. i think you are taking my personal opinion personal which you shouldn't, just as i don't take your opinion personal

Besides if your African American (as I am myself) Your biracial as well because we r not 100% African. So it’s like a double edge sword

Asker+1 yYour definition of biracial is extremely off.
Definition of biracial for English Language Learners. : of, relating to, or involving people from two races; also : having parents from two races.
You love? You love them? Give me five examples of what you love about them.
Asker+1 yExamples of love that aren't superficial.
Asker+1 yEvidence?
Asker+1 yEvidence to back your claim?
Asker+1 yHalf is one white and one black. Just because you have a drop of white doesn't make you biracial.
Asker+1 yStill waiting for five non superficial reasons as well.
Asker+1 yAnd Slavery doesn't prove a thing.
Asker+1 yI gave the definition. And the definition agrees with me. So not only do I not understand but "webster" is also confused at the moment. Sorry..
- +1 y
And I gave you an answer. Again we are descendants from a biracial couple. Black and white.
bi·ra·cial
ˌbīˈrāSH (ə) l/Submit
adjective
concerning or containing members of two racial groups.
The two groups I’m talking about is European and African (I hope your following me)
That’s why I said (if you read) because of slavery, a lot of us is descendants from a biracial couple
But slavery doesn’t matter? That’s kind of ignorant
Asker+1 yYou are extremely confused. Read the rest of that definition and you'll see that it's pertaining to "parents" of two different races. Not only that but every slave master didn't impregnate their slaves. So you're wrong on both accounts.
- +1 y
Umm I think u should look up the definition in google for yourself. and I’m speaking for me. In my history a European and a African had a child and that child is biracial. I know not every slave owner didn’t have kids with their slaves but it did happen. Again in my case and most African Americans, we do have European in our dna. Again, we are decadents from a biracial child 😕
Asker+1 y"Definition of biracial for English Language Learners. : of, relating to, or involving people from two races; also : having parents from two races."
Yeah "That child" was biracial - Not "you". Not only that but this is waaay off the original topic and means absolutely nothing.
Asker+1 yNot "all" of us. Not even close. That might be "your" situation. Even still this means absolutely nothing and has zero to do with the topic. But as for you, "continue to hold on to this philosophy as your treasure. It will get you absolutely no where".
- +1 y
U should re read what I said because I never used the word “all” I used “most” of us are descendants of that. And referring to what the person claiming about there is some biracial people being ashamed to claim that they’re black. To me it depends on how you were raised. I have a niece who is half black and Puerto Rican and she is/ never was ashamed of her black side so yea.
Asker+1 yMost? This is your "opinion". Not based on fact. Also waay off topic. It's not much more I can address here.
- +1 y
Yea this is ignorance at its finest lol. You should read/do more research on the history of slavery and what actually occurred during that time. Not much more I can do to help u understand. But yet it was common and there’s proof slave masters raped and had kids with they’re slaves hence the reason I said “most”. 🤔🤔🤔
Asker+1 yI never said that any of this didn't go on. But the so called negro is far from biracial. If you believe that he is biracial and would like to convince then bring proof.
At least in respect to the larger media, it's because black people hating black people is just violence that will get some people interested in watching their show/website/papers, while white people hating black people/black people hating white people draws attention from more demographics. Doesn't matter which is more prominent or more relevant.

Asker+1 ySo do we continue to blame whites for our own self hatred and low self esteem? Even when confronted? So let's a girl reads this post. A girl who currently has hatred for her own sisterhood. Now she has to walk away and make a choice. "Do I continue in my hatred for my sisters? Knowing that I can't depend on the white man / white woman to help me to change. I know it's hurting me and and my sisters but it's the whites fault. So I think I'll continue on hating the sisterhood anyway."
Can we help ourselves? Or should we allow self pity destroy us. It is not the white man. It will be self pity that eliminates us.- +1 y
No one is blaming white people. It's come to a point now where anti-blackness has become so deeply ingrained into society, that it will take a lot more than just 'helping ourselves'. There will need to be a complete cultural shift.
Asker+1 yI agree. I agree with you sister.

""We must realize that our Party's most powerful weapon is racial tension. By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races, that for centuries have been oppressed by the Whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party... In America, we will aim for subtle victory. While enflaming the Negro minority against the Whites, we will instill in the Whites, a guilt complex for the exploitation of the Negroes. We will aid the Negroes to rise to prominence in every walk of life, in the professions, and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negroes will be able to intermarry with the Whites, and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause."15 Reply
Asker+1 yThis is not the answer. That's part of the reason why we're doing so much worse. Because of this false hope. If we are to rise then we have to raise on another. Not depend on white guilt. Dependence? In my opinion that's a weak concept? And very foolish.

Asker+1 yI do "anon" on purpose. On every question. Also on every reply (if possible). Just to prove a point. Point being - You don't really know me. Just as I don't know you "Roland Cuthbert". Or is it Morpheus? Or is it Lawrence Fishburne? I get confused which one you are but it doesn't really matter. My question (which should be the only real focus) is very valid. More valid than "anon" or "Roland Cuthbert" whom neither of us truly know. But we do know that this question is valid.
- +1 y
So you do it on purpose for every question even though you just said that nobody here knows you. That of course, is the very definition of hypocrisy. Of course you don't want anyone to know who you are here.
The question is valid. And it could lead to a very engaging conversation. But there is no need to with a person who doesn't have the courage to at least let us see their history on issues, the country the live in, etc.
And if you look over my history, you will find me saying this often when people pose questions or make statements via anon.
Asker+1 yRoland is it? Extremely weak argument if you're attempting to discredit my question. I refuse to argue with foolishness. Whatever you say.
- +1 y
I am not attempting to discredit your question. I am discrediting you. Again look at my history, I have discussed these issues in quite some detail. And people can look and see if I am being hypocritical or if I am lying. I hide nothing here.
But you, via anon, have no skin in the game.
Asker+1 yAhh, I see. You think I'm searching for answers. No, not at all. This is to raise awareness. Which is why I couldn't care any less about your "gag" history. Like I said before - I don't truly know who you are. I can not discredit you as a person on this site. I can only discredit your question. We don't know who you are. No offense to Asians but you may be Asian. b Every time you speak it may be blasphemy. I don't know you. So why would I care about your history? No you misunderstand. This is only to raise awareness. Not searching for answers at all. Especially from Roland/Morpheus/Lawrence. I do apologize for the misunderstanding.
- +1 y
Nope. I am "Black". You knew that. Everyone here knows it. And I would share more, if there were no anonymous feature here. I think it is a feature that invites cowardice. But it is way overused.
And I don't think you are raising any kind of awareness at all. This topic has been talked about here. And among "Black" folks it is talked about to death.
So good luck with your anonymous campaign. But I don't think progress can be made by folks with so little conviction. I would invite you to another site where people have the courage to discuss in a forum format or in person (can you believe it?), but again, it takes. . . testicular fortitude.
Good day!
Asker+1 yEveryone here knows you on a personal level? There's an extreme doubt to what you say. But I'll entertain you. I'll go along with it. You have a good day as well.
- +1 y
You can pretend to be dense if you wish. Everyone here knows I am "Black". It is common knowledge. Folks know my stance on various issues. People have blocked me claiming I am a bully, the whole nine.
And if you actually sought to foster awareness, you wouldn't be anonymous.
It is funny that people who use the feature claim, they use it because no one knows who anyone is.
The argument is the definition of hypocrisy. If no one can know you here, then what makes you so afraid?
Asker+1 yThen put up your true information. If not then let it rest. Stop bringing up a foolish argument and "stay on the topic". I'm inclined to pick at anyone who insist on dodging "the topic" of a question. Definitely no offense toward you personally. You may truly be a black man. But stay on the topic. Or negativity will be brought right back to you. Once we've had our say and we're both in disagreement - "let it rest". This conversation no longer has any meaning. Just a waste of both of our time.
- +1 y
Put up my "true" information. My true information is up. My true handle is cuthbertroland. I am 45, divorced, etc.
And the argument isn't foolish. Any controversial threat is tainted by the anonymous feature. It is a way to get around being challenged, just like you are using it here.
And I have stayed on topic. I said this could be a good discussion if you were not anonymous. I have not strayed from my initial post.
Get some skin in the game. What is your account name here?
Asker+1 yThat wasn't the topic. That was your answer. There's a great difference. Where is your social media page? Under this name "you" claim as Roland Cuthbert? Must we go this far over a question? Do you really wanna go there like that? On the next reply that you make show us your facebook Mr. Roland Cuthbert. Do you really wanna get put on display. Don't play bro. Just drop it. Let it go.
Asker+1 yYou already have up a fake picture. Just go your way and drop it.
- +1 y
Oh, it isn't your topic. Right. It is my response. This could be a very good engaging discussion.
But you are anonymous.
So I can keep repeating it if you wish.
Oh yes, search google for Roland Cuthbert. I will come up eventually.

Asker+1 yAnd if they refuse accountability? Do we just lay down and die? Do we continue to destroy one another? They do not have to accept responsibility. Doing what they have done to us in the past why should we think that they would? "We" have to want life. We have to want more for ourselves. If not then we perish.
Asker+1 yWhy still have to try anyway. And yes, I believe programs with in the community are necessary in order for success to be achieved. Geared specifically toward Black Men and Women - Programs that teach self respect, self / black love, and self / black pride. Especially to our young. It's so bad now even the adults may need help. Whites as a whole are proud of themselves along with their entire race. Blacks should be as well if we are to succeed as a people. At this point even if instituted this would be a long shot.
