Just knock it off. You don’t have to do that. Just look real quick, and keep it moving. It’s like these people need someone to think for them. Learn to think for yourself
3.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Have to disagree. You assume that you ALWAYS with absolute perfection know when another car is coming - not to mention pedestrians, especially small children and the like.
You only need to be wrong once to have bad things happen. Grant the odds may be in your favor most of the time, but as I say, you only need to be wrong once.
As the old saw has it, better safe than sorry. Besides, stopping for a few seconds - which is what it comes down to - is hardly a major trauma in your life.

1 yIn the UK, you stop at Stop signs, sort of in the name, with Give Way signs, yeah you can keep rolling if it’s clear.
Stop signs tend to be there for a reason, blind bends, fast traffic, a road with a high level of motorbikes using it.
how quickly does a car doing 60 mph appear when you can see 40 feet of road, when the road is not flat but has a dip about 50 feet away.
It is about keeping all road users safe, irrespective of their age, driving ability, the type of vehicle they are driving.
then there is the turning on to the new road, if your car cannot hit 60 mph in under 5 seconds, and there is traffic doing 60mph plus, you now become an arse for slowing down traffic.

But you guys are smart AF! You have traffic circles!!
499 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Disagree, lol. My friend got a ticket for rolling. Nothing wrong with coming to a complete stop. It only adds like 5 more secs the most. Not a big deal. It’s called being a responsible driver.

There could defo be something in a blind spot or something you don't notice. Plus it is the law which is there for a reason. If a cop see's you good luck with that fine.

Go for it if you like taking chances with your life. Since you like taking risk go for no seat belts, holding your cell and texting, heck with red lights, pass stop school buses, the blinking lights warning school ahead, speed limits, drink and drive, etc. Do you realize I hate obnoxious drivers like you.

1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Here in the UK it's mandatory to Stop.
Let's hope you never kill anyone with your absolutely appalling and disgusting attitude.
30 Reply- 1 y
So you can’t understand why people still obey the law when nobody is watching?
This is difficult for you?20 Reply - 1 y
Not sure where you are, but here in the UK that would quality as a fail on the driving test.. Why do you suppose that's a fail. hmm?
20 Reply You would hate riding with me!! I stop and look both ways even if nobody else is around because I am paranoid of missing something. I also drive the speed limit, maybe that would also drive you crazy! I don’t really like driving.

My boyfriend hates it also, it’s kinda annoying if you’re in a hurry

Yeah. Obeying the law is bullshit! Society would be way better if nobody obeyed any law ever!
21 Reply- 1 y
Laws of that nature are bullshit, yes 100 percent
1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The cali rolling stop is illegal lol. I recommend you always fully stop. Especially if a cop might be around 😆
30 Reply5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's not about cars. It's for children on bikes crossing who are smaller than cars and who also just jump out from anywhere. This is a 20 mph speed limit territory, not 45 mph with stop lights.
10 Reply5.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They are the same people who drive the speed limit.
Don't "look real quick". You need to slow to a near stop, particularly in urban areas.00 Reply- 1 y
I can always pass them on one side or the other :D
Why would I 'hate' someone who depends on rules to stick by when he's lacking own decision-making skills.

I mean what could happen at worst. Maybe... you might accidentally kill someone.

Or intentionally 😈

you're evil... also, you can use rosemary oil and water mix for your balding head.
21.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I know cops that love to hide out near stop signs and write tickets for people That do a "Rolling stop" I almost always come to a full stop
00 Reply935 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Rules are rules, I am not going to stop following them just because it annoys you personally.
00 Reply4.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Rolling stops are illegal and that small bit of laziness could cost you a ticket or even have you kill somebody's pet or kid.
05 Reply- 1 y
It’s not laziness. You can discern very quickly whether or not there’s kids around. I see it as they are mentally slow

the reason we have accidents is that people always think they are safe to do what they can get away with
- 1 y
@OtterMan68 ^^ precisely. People think they know better than the safety measures which are designed to minimize fuck ups while not interfering with your driving experience too much.

Darwin approved answer. Cull the herd.

@Kingofkings1992
We are vastly outvoted here. Maybe I will do a full stop from now on... Yeah right. This is NY I'll be there 6 hours. Fuck that.
- 1 y
some cops are hiding. Also, you never know
Better to be safe than sorry, and what does it cost 2 seconds?02 Reply- 1 y
You see hundreds of videos on you tube where someone runs a red light or a stop sign. It happens more than you think.
- 1 y
2 seconds is humongous. I don’t waste 2 seconds
- 1 y
COMPLETELY AGREE!!! I expect you to roll through it like a normal person!! Full stops are more dangerous I think cuz you don't expect it!!

I don't hate the people because it'd the law and you aren't going to pay thier fine. Hate the game not the player.
00 Reply 2.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Rules are made to be followed. Patient is a virtue. If you can't wait half a second for me to follow the rules; then you have a problem.
00 Reply- 1 y
Yes, we DO have to do that; it's the law.
17 Reply- 1 y
I live by my own rules
- 1 y
I wasn’t consulted when this was agreed on, therefore I will not abide
- 1 y
You weren't consulted when laws against murder or treason were agreed on, either. Will you ignore those?
- 1 y
Of course not. I’m a decent person. I just don’t do anything that is unnecessary
- 1 y
If that were true, you wouldn't endanger people by refusing to make a complete stop at a stop sign.
- 1 y
We see things differently sir
- 1 y
Yes, we do. You've clearly never almost pancaked a bicyclist (a RECUMBENT bicyclist, no less) who refused to stop at a stop sign, probably for much the same reason.
- 1 y
The law says you stop regardless.
00 Reply - 1 y
you had to do it for your drive test!
00 Reply - 1 y
Well, they're doing what is supposed to do.
