Honestly, I wouldn’t assume MAGA people are all angry about it. 😂 Some probably loved it, some probably didn’t care, and some may have disliked it.

But I do think the symbolism is pretty interesting. A Mexican American mariachi group, Herencia de México, performed the U. S. national anthem at Soldier Field during the Bears game on September 28, 2026, as part of a celebration of Chicago’s Latino community.

And Bad Bunny performing at the 2026 Super Bowl was already a huge Latino cultural moment for the NFL.

Personally, I find it kind of funny when people act like American culture has always been one single thing. The country has always been a mixture of different cultures. 😅🇺🇸
