to be fair though...

and this might not be well known to Americans in the USA... half of Latin America also "hate" Bad Bunny's music... but is not because of his "race or ethnicity" or anything like that

it is merely because of the fact that Bad Bunny's music, most of it is/was terribly bad and annoying... and for Americans to understand what kind of "bad" it is... if you ever heard of "mumble rap" and just how fucking annoying it was to have to listen to that shit

Bad Bunny's music was like that... but just like mumble rap in the USA... there was and there is always a sector of the population that likes that stuff... and yeah, it might be possible that Americans who really don't know Spanish might be into his music because they just don't know Spanish so they don't realize how stupid it sounds, lmfao...

I do have to say though... he has a LOT of music, and it's been around for many years, and his newer and newest albums might be different now or even "better" I honestly don't know since I don't listen to his music

I don't hate him though, nor hate the fact that he will be there at the half-time... but I just don't care for half time shows and I never watch them either

I also don't like regaetton, but he does do Salma music as well, which I like. However my favorite music from the island is older ballads and the traditional music.

You have to understand that I was able to understand everything Bad Bunny sang during the Super Bowl, because I can pick up on words with a discerning ear. However most importantly, I think that the entire halftime show was a hit, because it sent a cultural message, it took you to the island literally, and it showed all of things you see in PR. And many of them were symbolic as well. The electric grid that always breaks down and there are blackouts because of it, and the women sitting on cement blocks, doing NO dancing or talking, just sitting. If you think about it--cement is what a lot of houses in Puerto Rico stand on. And the women sitting on blocks of cement signified the main pillar of the home in Puerto Rico--women are strong and unite the family there. They are the backbone of the home in Puerto Rico.
I just like Bad Bunny for his heart as well. He is very generous and has given millions to the under priveledged children in Puerto Rico for many causes.

It's worth having Bad Bunny perform just to torque off the MAGA filth. I've honestly never heard any of his music that I know of. But in interviews he seems like a good guy. And he's done some significant charity work for the island.

But the real entertainment other than the game is the commercials. Shout out to the beer and insurance industries for being stalwarts of Super Bowl ad spending.

Yeah, it's not just the fact that he mumble-raps in Spanish and is apparently mocked by many Latin Americans.

His appearance probably has more to do with the ongoing attempt to normalize LGBTQ bullshit by forcing it on the general public. "He defies traditional gender norms in fashion, often wearing skirts, dresses, and makeup to challenge masculine stereotypes. He has expressed that clothing does not have gender and has worn female clothing in music videos and public appearances to make artistic or political statement."

Fuck athletics organizations for promoting that crap. Somebody must be paying them big bucks because it's not like their fans are into it.
