Neither.

All feminism did was try to get women to a place of equality. If we want to have a career, we can. If we want to be more traditional, we can. If we don't want a family at all, we can. The idea was that no woman would be forced into a role she didn't want for herself. She no longer needed a man to have a life outside of homelessness. No more being sold off to the highest bidder by her parents. We could have our own money and career and get away from being wives and mothers to adult man-children who call it quits on their work for the day after 8 hours and expect women to do everything all hours of the day to serve them.

Of course "traditionalist" men want to go back to enslaving women. They got the better of that deal. It was far from idyllic from the women's side of things. I saw it first hand with my parents.

I have top right and top left and a wonderful stay at home hubby.
I was home with kids for 5 years. Then back to work. I love my job.
now my hubby is retired, We have cleaning ladies and lawn people… we live a good life.
why… because we only buy what we need… which is like 20% of our income… but most people waste 110% of their money.

in America… everyone can succeed with 1 or 2 income making $80-$150k a yr.
If they are not… they have made poor life/finances choices.

All 4 are realities. I think it's a bit irrelevant though. Feminists use the fear of #4 to keep women from experiencing the joy of #2. Ultimately keeping them stuck in #1. That's why it's important for men to teach that if women did #2, they wouldn't have to worry about #4.

the first one. When my kids were little my wife stayed home with them for 11 years. We were the only one income household in the neighborhood. Everyone else was on big hamster wheel. They all went to Disney world but when the kids were sick they got sent to daycare anyway.

I'm still not sure what feminists were fighting for, and neither are they.

Talk to several different women and ask them what feminism is all about, and you'll get different answers. Feminism is a movement without defined goals.

 But feminists have now gone into hiding. They're terrified of fighting for the old-fashioned women with vaginas.
