What has GAG taught you about people?

It has taught me that people believe in what makes them feel good, not in what is the truth. And often times, people whole heartedly in their own lies when they know deep down, that it's a complete lie.

I've learned a lot about how fake people can be, I dont just mean the literal catfished and fake accounts but I mean legit how fake people can be, mostly when they are given the ability to hide their face anonymously and speak their true nature, after all these years of being on this site I've only met a few individuals that are real at heart, the fact I can count them is somewhat surprising but if I were to use these same calculated stats in the real world population and it was accurate, this world is toast.

That Xper addiction is a real thing and when someone can’t get their xper bonuses they feel entitled to because they’ve been here 14 hours a day, every day for almost 3 years obsessing about it, the lashing out is really ugly. No years of college courses, boyfriends and three roommates, or week and a half long trips on a boat with their boyfriend and family can keep them away from their xper. You’d think everyone knows xper is meaningless but there’s a small group that almost refuse to post with bonuses available lol.

That if someone here is attacking you for something, it is because they are trying to distract you from their hypocrisy on the topic. They’ll call you a cowardly anon one minute and five minutes they’ll be doing it and think we don’t know it’s them. Bless them “smh”.

That everyone deals with the same problems and insecurities when you come right down to it.

Also that i am loved. And not everyone has that. There are a lot of sick hearts out there. Some that cannot be helped. And i'm always torn about how to handle those people. Because it's in my nature to want to try to help other people. But some people it's best just to quarantine from everybody else. Because as i said. Some people are just beyond help. And they only infect others with their toxicity.

Well, I tend to not worry about learning of other people that I will never meet or most likely never will. I do try and be helpful if I think that I can be. At my age, I havr limited life experience. So, I apply what I can.

I don't get emotionally involved with people here. I use the sote to fill ok gaps through the week when I might be bored.

Overall, I find authenticity questionable on this platform, so I kind of refrain from thinking that g@g is teaching me anything true about people. I prefer looking at it as a chaotic compilation of thoughts and feelings
