Probably.
- Universe tries to cheat on smaller dimensions (data compression)
- there is a raster for time, dimensions, temperature... Planck Units (rasterization and vectorization)
- photons behave differently if they are measured or unnoticed. (a bug)

I mean, the term "simulation" is just an analogy for what it really is but it is not a simulation. Before computers people called it "dream". But that does not mean it is a dream or a simulation. It is something different than both dreams and simulations.

Its possible. We all feel something is different since covid. The sky isn't as blue, food tastes of nothing, there's less color in the world, bees are gone, ladybugs aren't around anymore, the huge flocks of birds we used to see are gone. Everyone has this nagging feeling of Apathy.
