Did you know lots of recent European leaders are more unpopular in their country than Trump is in his?

🤷‍♂️ some of those numbers are extremely low, and I've never seen anything like it in the US.

[shish_kebab]

I didn't know this, but I could totally see it with Spain, the UK and Germany.
But you're not allowed to criticize those countries on GAG. You can only criticize America and Trump.

[shish_kebab]

Thanks for the MHO

Those euros think they’re so sophisticated and civilized, look at France right now

[purplepoppy]

Not surprised because many European countries are multi party systems as opposed to the US 2 party system. For example here's how people voted the last main UK election

Looking at the polls it's going to be even more divided next election with the winner getting less than 30% of the vote. So no matter who wins over 70% of the country will hate them.

Another difference is while the USA sees presidents as if they were A list celebrities, Europe has always treated them with distain.

[lilBigPotato]

Tbh that says more about the US than about Europe. If Trump were president of a European country, he would probably get half the popularity of the ones you listed.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@lilBigPotato perhaps 🤷‍♂️
Though it certainly shows the divisions in Europe, which is far less publicized than the US.

[Cidknee]

If Trump were to run in Europe he'd probably win there too.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

It's possible 🤷‍♂️

[Paige2006]

Yes I do
