Do women generally find it easier to approach women romantically than men?

My bisexual neighbor thinks it's easier for her to approach women, but two of my other female friends absolutely refuse to approach men for any reason but have no trouble approaching women. That's the reason for this question. None of them think it's easy to approach men.

So maybe it is that the variability in this behavior has more to do with perceptions or qualities of the recipients than it does with desires or motives of the initiator. I had not thought about that.

They each have their own goals and desires, personality quirks... throw in their own personal hormone cocktail and positive or negative experiences and... holy shit you can't possibly guess what's gonna happen. You might make an educated guess based on visual contact reactions, nut that's no guarantee. Still I don't approach without some sort of exchanged smile and hopefully a few words. Females are not one flavor of vanilla, and by the way the second receptive sister's motives are likely monetary as much as companionship. It's merely an exploratory probe.

I think that almost all men who are interested in self-care and self-protection are very wary of people such as your second receptive sister (or, even worse, those women who are looking for a good time and the opportunity to make an accusation and a lawsuit for money afterward).
