Money and power are both illusions. Oh, believe me i value a dollar as much as the next guy. But a better or wiser man it would not make me the more i had of it. And power? What is power? The ability to influence and move another man? To what? I cannot add to my days or turn back the clock.

The reality is only God has power over me. You can take everything i own, you can even take my earthly life. But only if that is God's will. You cannot take my eternal life. The battle has already been won. So when you realize this you learn to smile, take in the glorious wonders God has created. And let the "rich and powerful" fight over the scraps of this world.
