Read the essay. Watch the video. Then try to explain how important voting is in modern context. It’s a fantasy; the illusion of democracy. You are never electing YOUR choice of candidates. You are ALWAYS electing “Boss’” choice, and that is why the rich and powerful stay rich and powerful while y’all are bickering over “the lesser of two evils”.

You must choose between the two pre-selected candidates, who were not pre-selected by you or anybody else who has your best interest in mind
Well, there are more than two parties. I honestly don’t think any but the two primary parties are corrupted by Tweedism. If people banned together to elect anyone other than Ds & Rs, the rich and powerful would absolutely target whichever parties threatened their power base; either for takeover or for destruction.
When President Trump was elected it was the first time in my life I felt like I had real representation in Washington. Cutting taxes, getting better trade deals, deporting illegal aliens, becoming energy independent were all things that I wanted to see. Democrsts did just the opposite.
Let the citizens vote in a referendum vote for term limits and we could fix all of this.
Not really. Tweedism still selects the candidates who will replace the outgoing incumbents. Nothing really changes except the faces. We have to remove the money from politics in order to solve the problem.
My answer is way more feasible.
