To shield them from ruinous lawfare, he will pardon anyone he thinks might be sympathetic to MAGA, anyone he has selected or appointed within his Administration and any significent doners who can be identified publicly. He will pardon himself, Vance and Rubio in the first wave. He may even pardon GWBush.

He will pardon all Republican leaders associated with with him in any way; legislators, governors, family members, his Secret Service team, Musk, those maintaining and piloting AF1, Marine1, The Trump Organization and even rebels inclding Maher, Joe Rogan, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Vivek Ramaswamy and many I haven't thought of, no matter how innocent they are.

There will be unprecidented thousands. Otherwise he will have nothing to do.

Democrats will likely set very bad precedent.
They have attempted impeachment twice.
Both sides of the aisles agree that Democrats will push the government on the brink with endless lawsuits.

What does this do? It forces Republicans to respond. Once they have power it will be the same.

Eventually people will tire of it. Both sides stuck in endless legal battles for no purpose means a government that no longer operates.

It's bad enough that legitimate cases are now called into questions as political theater.
