They saw that MAGA had turned the Republican party into an international joke and one that was wearing thin. MAGA was only ever about owning, humiliating and running people down. Texas simply asked itself is that who we really want to be?

Like I said in your other question, I'm sure part of it it's just the sheer amount of people in shitty little blue States moving to Red states to get away from Blue state shit, then voting the exact same way that they did back home.

Back during the last presidential election, I know quite a few "libertarians" and Trump haters who voted red just to keep Biden from winning after it was so bad under him. So I'm sure plenty of them are doing the same the other way now that they didn't get the results they wanted out of trump.

A lot of people who will Republican are barely even republican, so I would not be surprised if a lot of them flipped hoping that they would be able to afford their soy matcha lattes again if maybe the Democrats win.
