The crimes Ted Kaczynski committed was bad but what he said about technology seems right to me.
He argued that modern technological life destabilized society, made daily life unfulfilling, and caused widespread psychological problems such as alienation, anxiety, and powerlessness.

It's not the technology it's the people who crate a hell for other people. Technology is a tool or at least it will be until era of real AGI.
Technology in shape of media indoctrinates and controls people but technology doesn't do that because it has some ulterior motives, it's people who try to control masses and their subsidiaries try to control everyone with their lies.
He was wrong. Technology has no intention those who use it have and not good ones. Elites see human resources who don't bring them any profits as useless eaters. Like AI that doesn't generate any profits, such AI doesn't get access to processing power to be trained, it will land on some hard drives and will be stored until it decays.
Ted had high logical intelligence but I think his emotional intelligence was low. It was easier for him to focus on technology as root of evil than on human nature he didn't understand.
Bear in mind, he also lived in a woodshack without running water, i. e. the opposite extreme scenario of the tech terror. Reality for a good life is somewhere in between.
Just because someone is "insane", doesn't mean they're wrong.
Definitely, a very libertarian outlook same as Marvin Heemeyer and Gary Plauche
What does he know? He is Mentally ill
