+1 yI never played with dolls and stuff, so I don't know. I think every age is different depending how vivid their imaginations are. I say, if they are having fun and it doesn't distract them from reality there is no proper age. I think it makes them fun adults when they stop later in life.

Um maybe like 10, I know I stopped before I started high school and I started when I was 11, so it must have been around 9 or 10. Probably before that actually, to be honest I don't remember.
013 Reply- +1 y
You started high school at 11?! What grades of high school do they have over there?
- +1 y
oh I turned 12 that year a few months in, I was just a few months younger than everyone else because I started school at 4. I should have been in the grade below. umm, we have kindegarten to grade 6 at primary school, which I finished when I was 11. Then you go to high school, which is grade 7 to 12, I started when I was 11 and graduated when I was 17.
- +1 y
Damn, high school is from 7th to 12th? Was your school big and is it separated to keep the young kids away from the seniors and stuff?
- +1 y
Some schools have from kindergarten to grade 12 in the one school, but where I live when you finish grade 6 you change schools and start grade 7-12. I live in a small town so my school was only made up of a couple of hundred people, its not split up though, we all mingle together and use the same rooms, its just spilt up into year groups for classes around a timetable, but at lunch time we were all in the same area and stuff like that, But people in grade 12 got their own common room to chill :)
- +1 y
Damn, that's awesome. It reminds me of Hogwarts and stuff, especially when you throw in 'common room'. Haha
- +1 y
So no fireplace?
- +1 y
Man, your school was so much cooler than mine. What kind of things did it have in there besides comfy chairs?
- +1 y
We had like a fridge that we all wrote our names on the front of lol, a sink, kitchen benches and a few appliances like a kettle and microwave, and a little coffee table that the chairs sat around. it was pretty cosy, there were only about 15 of us in year 12 at the time, so it was never crowded or anything.
- +1 y
Man, that sounds so cool. My graduating class had like 550 people so it was just a bit bigger than yours.
- +1 y
Yeah, it took forever to go through the graduation ceremony and the mosquitos weren't really helping.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ymay be like 9 or 10 years old, I started getting into TV more (Doug, recess, rugrats), sports, chinese jumprope, freeze tag, riding my bike, coongie...those were the good days! :D
01 Reply- +1 y
Ah, those are good shows and good activities.
When I was 12, I took one good look my collection of toy soldiers sitting in my top drawer...
...I then decided that looking at pictures of hot women would be more fun.
I never touched those toys again.02 Reply- +1 y
Haha You made a wise decision.
I was probably 11 or 12. Basically it was about the same time I got a Super Nintendo.
01 Reply- +1 y
Haha and then it's just pure video games from then on?

+1 yLike until I was about 10, I played very unconventional games with dolls, though.
04 Reply- +1 y
What do you mean by 'unconventional games'?
- +1 y
Hahaha. I did make them make out with each other sometimes but THAT'S IT. :P
Mostly it was just really complex, involved games, and throwing them off tall things haha. - +1 y
Haha I use to run out in the middle of the street and try to set my hot wheels somewhere where they would get run over and then go see how flat they got.
I am always a little girl inside but a woman from the outside, so I still keep my teddy :-)
13 Reply- +1 y
Do you still play with your dolls though?
- +1 y
Oh alright, well I guess that's not too bad.
+1 y19. I liked them so much that leaving them was very difficult. :-)
15 Reply- +1 y

Uhh don’t exactly remember now by my 13th birthday I got rid of almost all of my dolls and action figures. Must have completely stopped at around 9 or 10 y/o.

+1 yWhen I was about 7, I remember throwing all of my dolls out my bedroom window...So I think it was then I stopped xD

- +1 y
Alright, so I guess he's with most of the norm or at least with some people.
- +1 y
Haha Alright. I thought it was a little weird because I stopped playing with action figures like around 10 but as long as their normal then I guess it's fine.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI am embarrassed but I didn't stop playing with Barbie's till I was 16.
08 Reply- +1 y
Haha I guess you're just different. There's nothing wrong with being different.
Opinion Owner+1 yHaha. I didn't play with it the way I did when I was 5. But I love combing its hair and changing its clothes, stuff like that.
- +1 y
Haha Why wouldn't you just comb your own hair or just change your own outfit? Just curious.
Opinion Owner+1 yWell, I would practice braiding styles on the doll. My hair is really curly and requires more work than a straight haired barbie. As for changing the outfit, don't know never really thought about it. I guess the barbie was a hobby.
- +1 y
Haha Well that's cool. It seems that you really have a nice excuse as to way you played with them.
Opinion Owner+1 yexcuse? well truth is truth.
- +1 y
I didn't mean excuse really I meant more like a legitimate reason. :\
Opinion Owner+1 yhaha its ok!
Probably around age 13
01 Reply- +1 y
Alright, that's cool.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yi stop playing with dolls when I was about 14 or 15

- +1 y
Video Games make you smarter? Haha Nice.

+1 ylike seventeen! :D
015 Reply- +1 y
Haha Awesome! What kind of toys did you play with?
- +1 y
When I was little I played with barbies a lot. Also, lego, bionicle, and kinex. When I got a bit older I got barbarian action figure (not sure if it was Conan or nameless), and a Faramir lord of the rings action figure. Seventeen's probably a bit of an exaggeration, but I'd say later than most.
- +1 y
Haha Alright, that's cool. I didn't even know they had LOTR action figures.
- +1 y
Yeaap. Quite a large amount of them actually.
- +1 y
Cool, I didn't know that. I also didn't know about LOTR at that young of an age or what year did the movies come out in 2000?
- +1 y
Erm. 01 or somewhere around there, yeah
- +1 y
Oh, I think I may have seen some at walmart. I think I was over playing with action figures though.
