Gas money boyfriend/girlfriend situation?

My boyfriend lives 30min away. He says that he uses lot of gas to pick me up and to drop me off from his house...He pays for gas but now he wants me to help out as well. To give 10 dollars to him every other week. What you think?I usually see him just once a week. I did give him 10 dollars. And the other thing is... I like that guys take me out to a movie, dinner stuff like that. I don't want to spend his. Money. Is there something to do beside using money? I know that it's cold now. Brrr. So it means we can't do things outside...

I think him making you pay him is kind of silly, and I would disagree with it. But I can see his side too, it's common for guys to feel like they have to pay for EVERYTHING. If you start feeling bad about it, you could just offer to pay once and a while night. If you think that's to much, you could just pay for half of it. What me and my girlfriend do a lot is if we go to the movies or something, one of us will by the tickets, and the other person will buy the popcorn and stuff. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your advice. I wish tho that he pays for gass and I don't have to... But I do understand where he is coming from.I was seeing this guy and he payed for everything. It was nice. Miss that.
