I think my FWB is depressed

He's just not acting right, he's despondent, and indifferent. He's been unemployed for the last month or so and I think it's taking it's toll on him mentally. He does not want to talk at all, and he just seems so sad. He is not the type of guy to ever go to counseling or take antidepressants. I don't know what to do does anyone have any suggestions.

He went out last night and started hitting on this girl 3 feet away from a good friend of mine. He tried to get her all night,So I confronted him about it he said he went home alone, I called it quits we are done now. He's on his own now.

Obviously he is in a difficult situation. It is frustrating when you lose your job and can't find one immediately. Honestly, I think most of his problems are coming from the stress of not having a job and not having an active income.

Help him look for work (I am sure you have). Offer to do things that are less reliant on money. He is stuck. Just be there for him and try to show him the silver lining.

his ego (like when we get shot down) is very low right now, and that's an understatement, do whatever you can to "feed" it, comforting him, helping him etc...
