UK people, why are homes in Bristol so expensive?

I was looking at the homes on google maps and comparing property values, they're priced in pounds sterling and wow are they expensive!

What is min wage there in pounds?

As far as I know the minimum wage is £6.05 an hour but is due to rise later on in the year. However for 18-20 year olds is £4.98 an hour, for 16-17 is £3.68 and for apprentices is £2.60. But not 100% sure those are the exact rates.

As lovelayne said there are a lot more expensive places than Bristol

The minimum wage depends on your age and what job your doing, but the reason most of the prices are high for renting or buying houses/flats is somewhat due to how the country is run and some people say Brexit
