What kind of questions do they ask you in a job interview for a Movie Theater? I have an interview coming up

I have a Job Interview coming up at a Movie Theater this Thursday, Ultraluxe Cinemas to be exact, and this will be my 10th job interview this year, so I'm praying and hoping I finally get hired this time. I don't have much job experience, so a lot of the job interview questions they have asked me have been difficult for me to answer since I've never been in those situations before.

Anyway, who has worked at a Movie Theater movie? I'm applying for the Usher Position, what type of questions do they ask you in a Job Interview for a Movie Theater? I would really like all the help I can get, I'm desperate for a job!

I don't have much job experience, so that is why a lot of the interview questions I have been asked have been really tough, hard for me to answer, because a lot of them are situation-based questions, and I have never been in that situation before. Here are some of the questions "Give me a time when you were a leader of a group and how did you manage to lead the group?", "When was a time you and a friend achieved a goal that you thought was difficult to achieve?"

How should I answer the question "Why do you want to work here?" because obviously I can't just say that I need a job to pay the bills, or the question "Why should we hire you?", "What can you do for us that others can't?", I really want to make myself stand out from the rest of the competition, how should I answer those questions? any other advice people care to give me? I really want to have a life again, tired of being unemployed!

I had my job interview at the Movie Theater on Thursday of last week, on June 14th, and they still have not notified me to let me know whether I got the job or not, got hired or not, and yes I have actually been calling them back to check the status of my job application, I've made like 3 or 4 follow-up phone calls, never more than once in a day since my interview and none of the managers or bosses do not even know either, I wish the Main Hiring-Manager for most employers would let all of his

or her(depends on the gender of the Main Boss, Main Manager, Head-Manager of a Job, Employer, Company, Business, etc.) assistant managers,people of authority you know know, pass on the information so people don't have to get strung along for a while like this, it is really frustrating me and pissing me off, making me very impatient, depends on the gender of the Main Boss, Main Manager, Head-Manager of a Job, Employer, Company, Business, etc., I hate how HR people are not very reliable

But I won't be surprised if I won't get hired again, because I've been turned down from 9 other places this year, the movie theater will be the 10th if I get turned down again, but I know I will be bummed out, frustrated, depressed, pissed off again, I hate, despise, loathe job interviews with a huge burning, raging passion, if only everything could just be on Paper, in a Perfect World that would be nice, great, but since it is not, oh well, f*** it, it is what it is.

I've never worked in a movie theater, but just in general don't you think you should work on your interviewing skills? 10 interviews is a lot to not get a job. I'm sure most of those asked you similar questions, so you should have your answers down pretty good by now. You need to look at the job you are applying for. Not to be mean but movie usher isn't the most prestigious job in the world. They just want a hard worker who is friendly, reliable and willing to learn. The probably won't expect you to have a lot of experience.

When they ask you questions about experience, you need to think of situations in school or just in your personal life where you demonstrated whatever they are asking about. You answers might not be super relevant to working in a movie theater, but they just want to try and understand how you might act in a certain situation. The keyword here is learn. You might not have that kind of experience, but you can tell them something close and say that you are willing and eager to learn.

As I said you need to find some relevant situation. You've never led a group in school? You've never been a leader of a sports team, or a band or anything? You've never accomplished any goals in your life? Like I said, your answers don't have to be about work, pull experiences from your life.

this is the answer I've used when asking about being a leader, I said in high school when the teacher assigned us group projects, we all huddled up to decided which subject, topic that we should do our project on, we all shared our own ideas, and when I shared my idea, the group agreed with me and from then on I took the lead of the group project, made sure everyone was doing their part while I was doing my part, and we ended up getting an A on the project, that's the answers I've been giving

the last answer I have to that question, about me and a friend achieving a goal, I said that me and my friend made it our goal to get in shape before hell-week for Football in high school, we realized we had to arrive in shape, not expect hell-week to put us into shape, me and my friend went for neighborhood jogs, running, did push-ups at home and ate properly, cut back on doritos, and other chips, etc.

See how you can use these life situations as experience? This story about finding an apartment shows I am dedicated, I use my resources to succeed, I search for my best option when making decisions, I can work with others to achieve a goal, etc.

I worked at a movie theatre for over three years throughout high school. It was my first job ever and my first job interview. They really didn't ask anything out of the ordinary, just the same sort of questions everyone asks, like the examples you gave. The scenarios they give are so generic, I find it hard to believe you have literally never been in those situations before. I had no job experience whatsoever and was able to answer the questions using examples from school and family/friends. If you absolutely cannot think of anything that has actually happened to you, then just give an example of how you think you would react in that situation. As an usher, you will spend 90% of your time picking up people's trash. You don't have to give a riveting speech, they just want to make sure you won't punch customers in the face or talk back to management.
