What are some ice breaker/personal questions to ask during an interview?

So I am licensed veterinary technician.

I have a observational working interview tomorrow. Which means I am just observing and getting to know the team and they get to know me! I was told up front it is mainly to see if I vibe with the team more than skills I will not be doing any hands on in fact they do not want me drawing blood etc. Reasoning being they said we can teach you those things we cannot teach you to get along with the team.

I have never done a working interview where it is just based on personality/getting to know the team.

I am very quiet and sometimes nervous during these type of interviews. So what are some questions to ask that are ok to ask? I tend to ask protocol, how day to day things work as the day goes on when I am there as things come up is that still okay or does that make it seem I am more stiff?

For example : Do you require your clients to run pre-anesthetic bloodwork on all patients or is it case/age dependant?

Also they didn't give me a specific time frame as to how long to be there. The owner of the hospital who was interviewing me said a few hours. I am going in when they open at 8 am.

Typically 8 to 1 is a standard where I have done before in other places. But, the owner said something along the lines of you don't have to be here 8 to 3 just a few hours. If they don't tell me I was thinking about working 8 to 12 maybe when they start lunches but I also hate deciding to leave I rather be told the time.
