How do I deal with a female manager at my retail job who makes nasty faces specifically at me whenever we interact even for a second?

The issue for me at this point is that whenever she’s there at work it’s like a drain on my spirit because she’s not only always making nasty faces at me for no reason but also is very rude and bossy towards me yelling out at me across the e room just to tell me to do or not do something even as minuscule as ‘don’t lean on the wall’. No idea if she is as rude to others but she acts like she’s best friends with most everyone so I’m assuming she just dislikes me for some reason. I’m a female by the way. Also today she and another female manager were nearby and the other one told me good job for something and I smiled and made a hand gesture and the rude boss busted out laughing at me as if I just told a hilarious joke. Uhh what? The other manager laughed too.

These people are insane is my conclusion. Customers seem to like and appreciate me so again I’m thinking these two have some personal issue with me and all I can think of is what my mom told me years ago that other females are probably just jealous of me. But I hate to think that way cause it make me feel conceited.

Damn, that really sucks. Your boss sounds like a total bitch to be honest. I don't know why she's always making faces at you and being so rude. That's super unprofessional of her. It's not cool how she yells at you in front of everyone too, that's embarrassing. I wouldn't want to deal with that drama at my job. Yeah she's probably just jealous of you or something dumb like that. You said the customers like you, so obviously you're good at your job. Don't let this lady get you down - just keep doing your thing. I'd probably try talking to her one on one at first, like "hey what's your problem?" But if she doesn't stop then you'll have to go over her head to the main manager or something. That's bullying and you shouldn't have to deal with it. Maybe she picks on you cause you're another girl too? Chicks can be catty. I'd be so mad. I don't blame you for not wanting to confront her, that could make it worse. I'd just ignore her nasty face and focus on my work. Hopefully the main manager will notice how she acts and do something about it. Don't let this b! tch bring you down, luv. Just keep being cool to the customers and colleagues who aren't jerks. Hopefully she leaves you alone soon!

Years and Years ago when I was about 20 , I had a female boss like this , she didn't like me , no idea why , completely up herself and would makes faces , he had come from a fashion background and knew absolutely nothing about Sports ( we were sports with sports clothing , kinda specialist ) ..

Anyhow I'm certain she was involved in setting up a robbery of the store 3.5k all those years ago , sneaky bitch..

I don't really have the answer , other than to say , things change just keep doing your job well , you may be suprised.

Your name is boojiebaddy your age says your almost 40. It makes me picture you as someone older who dresses for attention. Perhaps she has the wrong idea about you because how you dress or present yourself. You don't need to change yourself but you will have to learn to accept not everyone will like you especially when you stick out.
