Is being serious a turn off?

I like when guys are silly, and I wouldn't mind having something like tickle fights, I like guys who joke alot.

But being serious a lot is quite frankly, hot, because to me that shows not only passion, but also a control on a situation.

If he acts too serious all the time to the point that he has no sense of humor, then definitely a turn-off. It works the other way too. If he goofs around over everything and never serious, that is also a turn off. There needs to be a balance.

Yes I want someone that can make me laugh and I feel like I can be myself around it's hard to feel relaxed around someone that has that manner about them.

As a serious guy, yes. You have to cut loose. When I do girls like me more. Although when the bills arrive suddenly Mr Serious is a huge asset.
