Is being laid-back a masculine trait?

For some reason I attract a lot of girls (lesbian and bi women), and I can't attract guys to say my life yet I'm straight. I always wondered why this happen.

I am a very beautiful girl, thin but with some serious curves, very feminine face, and I girl clothing (except for the occasional sweatpants).

So I asked some people that know me and it's been brought to my attention that I have a masculine way about me.

In my opinion I'm rather girlie so I tried to think of all of my individual traits and all I could come up with is the fact that I a.) have a sorta husky voice b.) am laid back.

I guess a.) kind of seems masculine but that's such a small thing so I'm thinking it's because I'm chill and laid back because I don't know many girls who are like that.

Being admired by girls isn't a bad thing. I feel good when anyone is attracted to me, it's just that I'm straight. I'm not complaining and I don't feel weird about girls liking me. Hope I didn't come across as offensive.

Do you have more male friends or female friends. That's usually the big factor in if someone is a girlie girl or not. Though if you are attracting lesbians that might throw off that theory.

Maybe you are confident and just don't know it. Confidence is more of a masculine trait. Also taking the first step since most women hate the chance of being rejected.

Do you like math and science or more into English and literature? That also determines what hemisphere dominant your brain is.

I don't have any male friends. I don't have many friend in general, the few that I have are female.

Yeah I study engineering but I'm also into art and literature too. I definitely wouldn't say I'm confident though. I'm...actually shy but I can see how I could come across as confident when I'm really not.

Engineering is a rather broad subject. I'm in an Engineering department which is basically maintenance. My friend is a chemical engineer and I have another friend who is a boiler engineer. I think the trash guy is a sanitation engineer. You could ask these women what they see in you.

I'm sure it's something about your personality. Girls that know how to relax and don't get on our case about everything are good. Guys don't like uptight girls that nag us constantly. Knowing how to take things easy and have a good time is a very good thing...

But wouldn't you say that guys are like that more than girls are? Do you think that girls really admire that trait in a partner? I wouldn't compare naggy and uptight to laidback because that's like negative vs. positive trait. Bubbly/chipper vs. laid back, bubbly being feminine and laid-back being masculine.

Being bubbly and outgoing is like the opposite of being shy. Being laid back is the opposite of being uptight and/or aggressive...

Well in this case I'm making that comparison between bubbly and laid back because they're both seen as good/desirable traits.

So what you really mean is that you are shy and reserved? Shy girls don't get noticed as much, they are harder to keep a conversation with, etc.

Im sure no girl is completely "feminine". I can list a few masculine traits about myself.

-I am tough -It takes a lot for me to cry -I like videogames.

Dont get yourself caught up with labels. Continue to be yourself.

Just calmly let those girls know you are straight.

If you want better luck at meeting guys then,

-Set up an online dating profile

-Go out more with friends (to places you can meet guys).

I agree that no one is completely feminine because I am feminine but I've been told that I have a masculine way about me, so I guess my masculine traits overpower my feminine traits making me more masculine?

I'm upset that they find me attractive. I don't even tell them I'm straight because I don't know that's extra and my orientation is my business. I'm not extremely pressed on attracting guys right now I was just wondering why I attract more girls than guys.

Being laid-back is "Genderless" trait. I think your problem more lies in what kind of places and with what kind of people you hang out.

But I know one girl who is tomboyish, she got hoarse voice, and guess what? Her best friend is a bisexual girl.

Good point. Actually I don't really flirt too much. When I do it's not in the way that most girls do.
