Guys, has your manhood ever been called to question?

I'm not talking about "down there". I'm talking about things just in general about your manhood. Have you ever been challenged this way?

Hell yeah lol.

I have gay friends that I grew up with, and I have been to a few gay bars for birthday celebrations and such. So of course, I have been had my manhood questioned because of that.

I am not really in to sports to the extent, that I know players and their number or their stats. I will watch sports if in a bar, but when I am home I am a reader not a big TV watcher. So because I don't get involved in the job sports talk and pools, my manhood is called in question.

I just have a laugh when my manhood has been questioned, because the ones that try to questions it are the ones that follow the crowd because they are so afraid of standing out and being seen as a little bit different.

Frankly I don't give a damn when anyone challenges my manhood. I'm confident in my own masculinity, and anybody who tries to "bait" me to do something that I don't want to do by calling my manhood into question is wasting their ignorant breath. I don't respond to childish peer pressure.

This is very interesting...Obviously, I can't answer this myself lol but when I have seen a guy's manhood questioned, it's always been because another guy stepped to him and wanted to go toe to toe. He challenged him or put him in a position where he needed to defend his own honor or the honor of someone he cares about.

My boyfriend was being a big baby and insisting on arguing over something petty. To shut him up I told him that I wanted to be with a man and if he wasn't man enough to see the pettiness of the topic, then I didn't want to deal with him. That silenced him and he seemed to have matured immediately.

I don't see it that way, but I guess you could call it that. I just wanted him to man up and stop being a baby. I didn't threaten to leave him, just to ignore him till he stopped being a baby. It worked. I haven't mentioned his manhood negatively since.

No, not at all. I simply wanted a mature relationship and he wasn't acting his age. He was acting four. I wanted him to act his age. However, being single does not scare me like it does some girls. He had been immature for some time before that and it was a gamble I was willing to take. I confronted him. If I were one who ran from her problems, I'd simply have left him without telling him what he did wrong.

Not to speak for the QA, but generally speaking, "being a man" is usually defined by the guy standing up for himself and being able to make it on his own, that sort of thing.

I was only challenged in school, but those ended up in fights. As far as being an adult goes, I look crazy lol, so people don't challenge me in that respect. I'm a veteran, I'm finishing up my undergrad degree, everything I have is because I have worked for it, I would be willing to die for those I care for, and so on, so if some moron wants to question my "manhood", he/she can go jump off a bridge.

Couple of time by family because I have long hair. However I really don't find those individuals terribly "manly" while they're sitting there being threatened by the way another guy looks so it really makes no difference.

Everyday me and my friends mess with each other, and insult each other. We'll call each other sissies and generally call each others' manhood into question all the time.

Well, yes, by women because I was accused of stalking a girl. The accusation really hurt...I realized I was being very insensitive toward the woman in question, and they were trying to get me to realize that, so they brought out this accusation...
