This guy I've known for about three months now, held my hand in the theatre. than he put his arms around me and stuff. he's a really nice guy, and according to people who go to his school, he's the typical shy/nice guy. I'm more of a bubbly outgoing type and I'm just really myself when I'm around him. I'm starting to have feelings for him, do you think he does to? our first hangout went well, he was somewhat into skin ship, but during our second date he was very hesitant about holding my hand and-_-;; he also started to text less and less (text first I mean;; could this be because I rarely initiated contact?:/). He's the typical shy/nice/gentlemen ish guy I guess. any thoughts/?

As a shy person myself, I know how he feels. By replying to your texts shows he has feelings for you, he may find it hard to express himself on a text, and by holding you hand through the movies is a big thing for him, try showing him some affection back, hold his hand first, give him a big hug in the street, he will then start to come out of his shell and you may find that he is as bubbly as you.

the thing is, he ignored one of my texts;; like it wasn't a question text so I guess its understandable that he didn't reply but stilll;; id imagine if he liked someone he would never ignore a text. (I initiated he replied I replied back, he ignored). and what is a conclusive way to show my "affection back?" (besides telling him :p) ha ha thank you :)

If he wasn't interested, why would he hold your hand?

He's gone all shy because you obviously didn't respond to it, you haven't acted interested so he's given up.

And no, starting a conversation is never enough to show a guy you like him after he's tried to hold your hand.
