This is OK as long as it doesn't actually happen. Everyone seeks approval from those other than their SO, it improves our self value. Right now, it's a fantasy, which is normal. As soon as you start thinking about acting on something, you're in trouble. I'd work on suppressing these thoughts. If he hits on you, he's not really that genuine of a guy is he? I also pity you. Everyone likes a certain amount of attention, but when you crave it, seek it out actively, or manipulate others into giving it to you, then you have a problem. Obviously women are far more guilty of this than men, and it annoys the sh*t out of me because I can tell from a mile away when they're doing it. I quite literally just stopped being a friends with a girl because she did this far to often.
