How can you tell if a girl wants to dance with you?

The dance situations I'm referring to are like dance floors in a bar or similar. Especially in a crowded situation, I find it very hard to figure out when a girl is dancing near me if she wants to dance with me (or is it another thing like, we just happen to be dancing near each other). All helpful answers are welcome, but I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has nonverbal cues to look for.

thegirlnextdoorxx pretty much nailed it. If she's interested she'll try to catch your eye, so look out for eye contact. If it's super crowded, the best thing to do is to approach a girl you're interested while she's dancing and just say hey and be friendly. Don't touch or grab her, just dance close to her until she seems like she's into it

She'll take your hand,

She'll ask you a question and stand close, still moving to the rhythm,

She'll come dancing towards you with a smile

Then you should talk to her, ask her if she wants a drink if she's nice.. and then just dance with her if she accepted your offer and you got her something to drink. I think you're just a bit too cautious when approaching girls. Don't overthink everything.

People here are so obvious about wanting to dance that you can't miss it. Guess it's different where you come from.

@Yeahhbro I think it depends on what type of dance it is. Keep in mind there are many times. If it's a waltz, the man has to ask the girl, by holding out his hand and asking, "May I have this dance?"

Second, if it's a regular group dance, just dance together. If it's salsa or Latin, again, if you're the guy, ask. Some girls will take the initiative because they are that type, the very unique type. I recently danced with four beautiful girls at this ball for Christmas. It was intense, beautiful and exquisitely relaxing.

If she's checking you out frequently. Specially if she smiles at you when she looks at you. Though, a lot of girls act like they're not interested in order not to become an easy target. That's why it's so difficult to approach blindly. But trust me, if you CAN dance, go in without any hesitation because chicks LOVE when a guy can dance.

Either she'll lightly brush against me and sync to my rhythm or what is more likely is that she'll make eye contact, smile and gesture for me to come hither. Girls are generally more forward (in a great way) when they want to dance.

After seeing your pictures, I doubt any girl would wanna dance with you. No offense but it is how it is. Girls are way more shallow than guys at clubs/bar scene. It's either find a really sexy guy or just have fun with girl friends till then.

I'm not being rude here. Just being brutally honest. Women are just way more shallow than guys in clubs and real life unless he's rich and willing to throw money at them by buying them drinks.
