Interlocking fingers while dancing

Went out with a guy last night and he picked me up, got out of the car, came to the door, and opened doors for me all night. While we were dancing, he locked his fingers through mine. Each time we would go to the dance floor he took my hand and lead me onto it or lead me off. Standing around he would sometimes put his arm around me. And at the end of the night he got out of the car and kissed me. Not a long kiss or amazing fireworks, but my mind keeps going back to it. So does he like me more than just a fun time, or was it simply fun for him? I know most guys aren't nice like that unless they like you. And his friends kept joking with him and like making faces or gestures to do these things. So in all does he like me?

Theres little substance in what youve told us to distinguish between whether he likes you in terms of a relationship or whether he likes you in terms of a hookup. I would say by the interlocking fingers alone that either of these two possibilities are true, in other words: interlocking fingers for some reason has that extra level of intimacy which you simply don't do with someone you're not interested in.

I would say the fact he's putting in the effort of picking you up and that his friends are teasing him support the idea he likes you as future relationship material but it doesn't make it a definite.

Basically what I'm saying is: YES, he is interested and it is LIKELY he is looking for a future relationship BUT there is still the CHANCE he is just looking for a hookup. So keep your witts about you and don't be a naive little girl, at the same time try not to overanalyse everything.

I have known this guy for years, but haven't talked to him much since high school, which was over four years ago. We "dated" in the past, but we were younger and just because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. So as for the hookup, it would not be like I have known him only a few days or months.
