So there's this new guy at work. We don't really have much work together so there's not much opportunities to talk. Yesterday my coworker host a drinking night at a classy bar and we drank quite a lot but everyone were still sober. That guy finally talk to me and it was fun (at least for me). We kind of flirted while making some jokes, but he kept asking my friend to introduce a girl to him. He said that he likes petite girls and I am petite, and at a point he said that I'm pretty good at seducing and that he was seduced at that time. When I decided to go home, he offered a high five so I did it, and he subtly interlocked our fingers for seconds before I finally let go. I didn't see he do the same to others (there was one more girl left and others were guys). And then he offered a lift but I declined. Does this mean he was interested in me? His look is not bad so I assume he's good with girls.

He likes you and he wanted to feel physically closer to you. It might mean that he is interested in you.

Do you have any idea of how can I show my interest to him without coming across as desperate on daily basis? He hasn't ask for my number and we still have not much chance to talk at work, like we only greet or talk a little because we bump into each other on our way.

You can try asking him to hang out with your coworkers as a group. There you could try to get to know him better.
