Boys why do you go clubbing & partying after a break-up & show no emotion at all?!

my ex of 2 years broke up with me 6 week ago the first month I begged for him back & told him ill change he refused I am now in 2 week of NC and Haven't heard from him? when he broke up with me he admitted it will be hard & that he still had feelings for me and did care about me a lot, however he said it was for the best (he got sick of the arguing) he now goes out every weekend partying & clubbing he hasn't contacted me since I last contacted him he's not hurting at all & doesn't care?! I was with him almost 2.5 years he's just blocked me out like I don't exist?! please help.

I have a post break up routine. Go out, party, club, hang out with friends constantly and work out like a beast. Am I happy and glad? F***no, I'm probably having a range of emotions anywhere from depressed/lonely/angry and sad. For me when I'm by my self after a break up I just think, ponder, and wonder too much about my ex. The only way for me not to be a downer is to go out and do that stuff.

I'm on week 3 of NC with my ex, and we've been broken up for little over a month. I've slept with 2 girls, I've lost 8lbs, I've run over 70 miles and work out almost every day and party every weekend. I still miss her and love her like crazy but I know she isn't coming back. it's just part of the healing process.

It hurts guys, but we don't show it. We're realistic about it. If it ended, it's because it wasn't meant to be. So we suck it up, and move on with life

Well, I know I'm not a boy but maybe he goes out to get things out of his mind. I feel that boys are way better at hiding emotions than girls. I think that he is either going out to try to get over the breakup( I did this on my last breakup because when boys would hit on me while I went out it would make me feel better.) or he is over the break up an is saying it will be hard to get over to not hurt your feelings.

Happened to me too. Exact same thing Literally. I don't know why. I dated 2.5 years too. and now he is happy and has a new gf
