Why guys are drinking so much after rejection or break up?

The unholy marriage between Weberian cultism and Aurelian worship, mostly. Most guys lack a proper social support system, due to society increasingly frowning on close male relationships that aren't sexual, and many of them also lack solid coping mechanisms, due largely (but not entirely) to the lack of empathy that teaches them they're disposable, so they turn to dulling the pain instead of finding a positive way of working through it.

I have never drank after breaking up with any of my partner. Alcohol is never an answer to problems.
