Yes, I'm a guy and I've experienced this, and like a typical guy I didn't have a clue as to what was going on until the last minute, guys often experience attraction without the realization that they are attracted, this forms into exactly what you've described, teasing, he'll make efforts to get closer to you physically. If you are both of legal age, ask him for drinks. It sounds backwards to ask a guy out for drinks, but secretly we do enjoy girls making plays for us, although we tend to not express it or go chasing it we do get a rush from the sudden realization that someone is interested in us, luckily it's not something guys actively seek, otherwise there would be no hope for monogamy at all, lol.
Ask him what he's doing after his shift, if he says nothing, or makes it obvious that he can do something, this is a good clue to push the subject. If he says he's busy (for whatever reason) and doesn't follow that statement with when he's free, then he isn't interested.
