What do you find more unusual in this type of friendship?

A gay guy hanging out with a female lady or a gay guy hanging out with a straight guy?

My brother says that is not unusual to see a straight lady hanging out with gays cause it happens and there is nothing wrong but when the gay guy hangs out with a straight guy, it is a bit unusual because it may seem the straight guy is into gays and why a straight guy hangs out with gays men anyway.

Now do you find more unusual if that situation happens if the lady hanging out with gay guys is a separated lady and the straight guy who hangs out with gay friends is the husband of the lady who hangs with her gay friends, as they are separated, they both have their respective friends the wife hangs out with her gay close friends and the husband do the same with his close gay friends as well.

If you're friends, does it really matter? If each person has said that they aren't interested in any further relationship than friends then what is there to discuss. Being a homosexual male doesn't mean you are attracted to every man on the planet.

For my brother it is unusual, that straight men hangs out with gay men. My brother does have gay acquaitannces but they do not hang out with each other, beaue his gay acquaintances only hang out with people of their same sexuality, why they need to hang out with straight? His acquaintances only hang out with gays not with straight. It is strange

@kitty71 I have know several gay friends. We have worked together and partied together. When we'd have shop get together's he'd come and enjoy the fun and food. Never thought anything about it. Also knew several in the military, they were always friendly with the rest of us.
