in a nutshell, I had gotten flirty with this one girl I met through a friend. we met up a couple of times, and kissed and fooled around. shortly after that I found out she had a boyfriend. we stopped talking, but after a month of silence, she texted asking how I was doing. I succinctly said "doing fine, thanks". two weeks after that, she again texted asking what was up. I told her that I was kicking back and relaxing, and told her to enjoy the weekend. she replied telling me to enjoy the weekend also

she has a boyfriend, but why the random texts every few weeks? plus both were on saturday nights...shouldn't that be prime time for intimacy with the boyfriend instead of texting some guy you barely know?

If she kissed and fooled around with you when she had a boyfriend then it's pretty clear what's going on. She want's you. Either she had been drinking and was just looking for a random hookup or she's into you and would be willing to leave her boyfriend for you. Either way there's a couple questions you need to ask yourself.

Do you really want to be "that other guy"?

Would you have a problem dating a girl that you KNOW cheated on her previous bf?

Are you up for a random hookup with a girl that's in a relationship?

its natural for people to be attracted to more than one person. like rebel28 said, she is cleary into you and she doesn't have a problem with fooling around while she has a boyfriend. you just have to decide if you want to be with a girl that would do that, especially if in the future you are the boyfriend.

I admit I am somewhat attracted to her. I don't know her bf..never met him..dont' know anything about him.

a mutual friend said that she had recently gotten with her bf, which puzzles me more because they should be in their "honeymoon" stage instead of one person texting another dude
