Why would you take someone else' spot? You say you know how people park in the same spot every day, yet you intentionally park in someone's spot. In other words you are intentionally causing trouble. You accuse him of acting like a child, but you are the acting like a child also.
Can you get fired? Yes, you can get fired for anything. A lot of companies don't tell you the reason why. Just one day you walk into work, they tell you that you are no longer needed, hand you a box to put your stuff in, and give you 15 minutes to get out the door. So you've not only lost the job, you've lost your reference.
This is within your control. It's your choice how you handle it. Why not just park somewhere else? Easy solution.

I doubt it but just don't outright show spite because then the boss may see you as a potential nuisance around the workplace. The only way I can see it as a problem is if he is a "boss's pet."
Faaccckk no! The guy is just being a douche bag. My advice? Keep taking that spot until it's your spot ;)
umm
if it is unassigned parking...
how exactly did you take his spot?

Unless he is your boss and you piss him off, how can you get in trouble for parking in an unmarked/communal parking space.
Well, you technically can get fired for any reason, but realistically, it's unlikely you would.
